These terms cover your use of aviatory.org and the content published on it. By using the site, you agree to them.

Aviatory is an open platform for aviation engineering — projects, writings and printable documents, published by an independent contributor and community rather than a company. Nothing on this site is official guidance from an aviation authority, a manufacturer, or an airline, and none of it should be treated as a substitute for approved documentation, type-certificated data, or professional judgement in an operational setting.

Unless a specific project states otherwise, the source code and written content on Aviatory are published under permissive open-source licenses (MIT, credited on the relevant project or in the site footer). You are free to read, use, modify, and build on this work under the terms of the license that applies to it — check the specific project or document for which one that is.

Everything on this site — code, projects, writings, checklists, documents — is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. Aviatory and its contributors are not liable for any damage, loss, or harm arising from the use of, or reliance on, anything published here. This is especially true where safety is involved: verify anything you intend to use in a real aircraft, a real flight, or a real system against the applicable official sources first.

The contact form, comments, and any community spaces linked from this site (such as Discord) exist for genuine engagement — questions, feedback, corrections, collaboration. We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access for spam, harassment, illegal content, or abuse of these systems, without notice.

Aviatory · Control, the admin panel, is restricted to staff who publish and moderate content on the site. It is not a public service, has no self-registration, and these terms of general use do not create any right to an account there.

Aviatory links to third-party services (GitHub, LinkedIn, Discord, YouTube, and others) and to third-party sites referenced in its writings and documents. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of sites we do not run.

If these terms change in a way that matters, the effective date at the top will change and, where the change is significant, we'll say so on the site's changelog.
